Merry Christmas, it’s time to play Skeal
The rules for our calendar voting are thus:Any game released in 2022 is eligible for inclusion, which also includes games that have released into early access, or got a full release this year after an early access period. We would also allow games from December last year to sneak in, if they came out after voting was finalised. Because this is our house and we make the rules, we would also consider games that felt like 2022 was their year - think a live service game whose numbers surged suddenly, and old indie game that broke big out of nowhere, or big transformative DLCs.
The RPS calendar appeared in2007, and we’ve done it almost every year since:2008,2009,2010,2011,2012and2013. In 2014 we didthe RPS Bestest Bestswhich were the exact same only it wasn’t based around a calendar. The calendar returned in2015,2016,2017,2018and2019,2020, and2021. That makes this the sixteenth RPS advent calendar, if you count the oddities in 2008 and 2014.
