REGARDING SPOILERS: In ourKingdom Hearts 3walkthroughs, we will be laying out gameplay for each level, highlighting enemies and tasks. We will not be explaining or even mentioning story beats from the cutscenes, though there will be minor spoilers in boss names etc. Proceed with caution if you are trying to remain completely unspoiled.
Defeat the enemies that are around you as you spawn in. After the cutscene, head under Andy’s bed to find a chest.
Next you need to head outside, down the rooftops and to the other side of the street. This will take you to the toy store. When you arrive you will need to take down some Giga fighters.
There are three types of Gigas to take on. Red, blue and purple. The red used a charge special move. The blue uses cluster bombs and the purple one a precision laser.
Once the Gigas are down, head into the pinball machine. There’s a chest in there containing the map for the area. Use the spring in the center to climb up, and then ride the orange rail.
Head into the toy store and take down the enemies inside. There’s a fighting toy in the center of the shop which you can get a chest from.
Your next stop is the vents at the North eastern side of the room. Use the platforms to get up there. Keep moving through the vents until you reach a fan. The fan will blow you upwards. Let it do so to the highest level. There is a chest up there.
Head back down and dodge into the other ledge area. You’ll find a Taxi minigame and a chest in this lower path. Save your game and proceed to the Upper Vents. You’ll need to run to the end of a vented hallway, waiting for the fan to stop to duck under. You can ignore the turrets.
Toy Box Frog Out of Place
Head to the Musical Toads section of the store to trigger a cutscene. Climb up to the record player and run on it to play music. You’ll then be asked which toad is out of place. It is the blue one.
Where is Hamm?
Hamm can be a little tricky to track down in this area, but after you’ve triggered the blue frog it becomes much easier. Hamm is hiding in the dolls house, so interact with it to get him out.
The next section involves fighting a ghost girl of some sort. It’s an easy fight, especially if you use Attractions. Next ride up to the 3rd floor using the blue rail, and over to the wood blocks store to the south. Destroy the UFO, the blue Gigas is effective here. Head down to the exit. A cutscene will play, after which you must return to the 3rd floor and go into the video game store, cue another cutscene. Destroy all Gigas once again and then go to the Babies and Toddlers Outdoor section. Climb through the small window, where you’ll enter an area with blocks. You must go up to these green blocks and interact with them. This builds a platform for you to climb.
Now go to the Jungle Jim at the end of the room. Head to the top to trigger enemies. Defeat the enemies, and then head back down to the bottom. There are chests to be found here, which are shown in the images below.
Your final destination is a room located underneath the structure you are building. You’ll find the last set of blocks in here so put them into place and then climb your creation. Go through the vent and then use the Shop and the Save Point. Interact with the Portal ahead.
UFO Boss Battle
The final thing to do in the Toy Story world is to fight the UFO boss. Use the bouncy toys to get up high and land on its head. Attacking here will do a ton of damage. It’s best to stay away while it’s moving, and if you can trigger the Blaster special move then make sure you use the boosters to get its head in sight.
